DAY 5 OF 7

Blameless

It’s a hard one to understand…All that you’ve done that is evil is accounted for by the blood of Christ on the Cross. Yes, the abortion that you can’t get over. Yes, the affair that you had. Yes, the divorce that you wanted. Yes, the horrors you witnessed overseas in the military. Yes, the drugs that you’ve done. Yes, the premarital sex. Yes, the lies you’ve told. Yes, the pornography you’ve watched. YES, YES, YES.

You know this, but you still can’t forgive yourself, right? You’ve tried and tried, but something in you just can’t seem to get over your mistake. I hate to say this, but Satan is winning when you allow this to happen. I say WHEN YOU ALLOW this to happen because that’s exactly what is happening. You are ALLOWING this to happen. Do you know why Satan is winning? Because the fear of your past is robbing you of ministry today. Do you know that “ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALLEN SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD”…Yeah that’s right, all of us…including me. The question is, when are you going allow God to take it so far away that you can’t find it if you want to? Probably when you get honest and admit that you are sinful. Something cool happens when we’re honest…the guilt goes away. You know what replaces the guilt?? A testimony…that you will boldly and confidently share that will impact the kingdom of God in an earth shattering way because you will finally be living in the light!

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

So how about a moment of honesty…and how about we allow our testimony to define us, not out sin?
