Have Faith

DAY 5 OF 5

Day 5: Faith That Moves Mountains

We have all been endowed with a measure of faith that God has apportioned to each of us. Even a tiny amount of genuine faith in Him has the ability to produce miracles, signs, and wonders. Jesus said faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains. That means even if our faith is small, it yet has great power when placed in The Master’s Care. Still, I genuinely believe the pertinent question is, should our faith remain in a seed status our entire life, or should it grow, bloom, and flourish? Consider it from this standpoint, mustard seeds that are planted in the ground begin as seeds, but they do not remain seeds forever. When mustard seeds are placed in optimal conditions for growth, they will germinate and eventually become plants. Mature mustard plants grow into shrubs! Although our beginning may be small, I am convinced that God expects ALL OF HIS CREATIONS to become fully developed and productive.

Regrettably, because of the “mustard seed faith perception”, some of us have allowed the enemy to trick us into believing that it is acceptable to God for our faith to remain in the same state. But I am reminded of the Parable of Talents in Matthew 25. The master distributed money to each of the servants according to their abilities, and they were expected to make him a profit. The first and second servants grew the money by doubling what they were given. Although they had received different amounts, they both were met with joy and promotion. On the other hand, the third servant buried his master’s money in the ground and did not increase what he was assigned; this servant was charged with being wicked and slothful and cast into hell. So, friends, do not use “mustard seed faith” as an excuse not to grow and produce.

The truth of the matter is -the devil wants our faith to remain minuscule and insignificant because he knows what it can produce. THIS IS WHY THE FIGHT WITH BOUTS OF DOUBT, FEAR, AND FAILURE IS SO INTENSE! But it doesn’t change the fact that GROWTH is still required by God!!! We have to remember that we are not relying on our own strength. Paul wrote to the Corinthians, therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong (2 Corinthians. 12:10). When we cry out to God, we can expect our Heavenly Father to hear and strengthen us.

Is there a mountain in your view? Are you believing for a breakthrough? Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep declaring God’s promises. Your faith is not ignoring your reality; it simply believes that the Father’s power is greater than the problem. This unwavering stance will open the door for God to do the impossible in your life. Listen, by no means am I downplaying this to make it seem like a stroll in the park. I know from personal experience it will be a hard fight, but I also know - you can make it. How do I know this? Because Satan desires to sift us as wheat, BUT JESUS IS INTERCEDING ON OUR BEHALF THAT OUR FAITH WILL NOT FAIL!!!

Day 4

About this Plan

Have Faith

As Christians, it can be easy for us to “talk” faith, but faith is more than just believing when things are going well—it’s about trusting God when life takes unexpected turns. Faith is a lifelong journey that enables us to trust the Lord beyond what we see in the natural, hold onto His promises, and experience God’s supernatural power and abundant blessings. This 5-day devotional is designed to help you overcome doubt, persevere through delays, handle disappointments, build unwavering faith, and walk confidently in God’s plan for your life. Each day includes reflections, action steps, and guided prayer.
