From Acceptance to Approval: Living a Life That Pleases the Father

DAY 23 OF 30

DIVINE ASSIGNMENTS: A TRUST TO THE APPROVED

God does not entrust divine assignments casually; He commits responsibilities into the hands of those who have proven themselves faithful. 1 Timothy 1:12 (KJV) says, "And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry." Likewise, 1 Corinthians 4:1–2 highlights that stewards must be found faithful. Divine approval precedes divine trust. God watches your hidden life, your private obedience, and your response to little instructions before He entrusts greater works into your hands.

Beloved, assignments in the kingdom are not given based on gifts alone but on trustworthiness. Many are gifted, but few are approved. Many have zeal, but few have been tested and found faithful. If you seek to handle weightier matters of the kingdom — whether in ministry, business, leadership, or service — you must first prove faithful in the "small things" that the Father places before you. Faithfulness in little is the seed for faithfulness over much. Growing beyond acceptance into divine approval means embracing every task, no matter how small or unseen, with the same diligence and reverence you would give to a public platform.

I want you to learn that the pathway to divine assignments is paved with daily choices to obey, to serve without grumbling, and to remain loyal even when no one watches. God is not in haste to promote; He is committed to preserving His purposes. Therefore, He commits assignments only into the hands of those whose hearts beat in rhythm with His. Let your focus in this devotional be to cultivate a life of hidden faithfulness. When you are faithful in secret, the Father will entrust you with His treasures openly.

THOUGHT TO PONDER: Are you faithful in the little things the Father has entrusted to you today? How can you prepare yourself to be a vessel the Lord can trust with greater divine assignments?

PRAYER: Dear Father, I thank You for every opportunity to serve You, whether seen or unseen. Help me to be faithful in little, diligent in duty, and steadfast in heart. Make me a vessel You can trust with Your purposes and assignments. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan

From Acceptance to Approval: Living a Life That Pleases the Father

God’s love for you is unconditional—but His pleasure in you is cultivated. This 30-day devotional invites you to grow from merely enjoying God's acceptance into becoming a son or daughter who delights His heart. Each day explores the biblical truths from salvation into spiritual maturity, where faith, obedience, and daily choices shape a life that pleases the Father. You’ll learn how to live for divine approval—not just divine love. Let this devotional be a turning point as you seek heaven’s commendation: “Well done, good and faithful servant."
