Impulses for the Way: 30 Days on the Camino De SantiagoSample

Never Walk Alone
Take a heart check. Is there anything you need to let go of? Breathe. Rest. Commit to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading.
In today’s video Barrett shares this discovery: “I seek community because I was made for community. I long to know God because he longs to be in community with me!” Do his words stir in you any memories or longing to be known?
Read the following passage slowly.
“Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common” (Acts 4:32, ESV).
What word or phrase stands out to you? Read the passage again.
Prayerfully consider: Am I walking on this journey of life alone? Why or why not?
Ask the Lord: Is there anything you want me to do in response to this reading?
Conclude your time by resting in God’s presence. He is with you. And he goes with you. You are never alone.
About this Plan

What if following Jesus was like walking the Camino de Santiago—dusty paths, vineyards, mountain passes, and ancient Roman roads? *Impulses for the Way* is a 30-day, video devotional filmed across 800km of this historic pilgrimage. Barrett Harkins, who lives in Santiago and serves pilgrims daily, shares stories from the trail, Scripture reflections, and prayers that explore restlessness, forgiveness, hope, and radical grace. Whether you’re on the Camino or navigating daily life, these short videos invite you to take the next step with Jesus—listening to the Spirit’s whispers and remembering this truth: you never walk alone.
