30 Days of Prayer: A Call to Care for the World's Most VulnerableSample

Day 13: Prayer for Strength and Resilience
Reflection: Life is filled with challenges that test our strength and resilience. For children facing poverty, illness, family breakdown, or other hardships, the need for supernatural strength becomes even more crucial. God doesn't promise to remove all difficulties from our lives, but he does promise to be our strength in the midst of them.
When we pray for strength and resilience, we're asking God to fortify young hearts, and minds with his supernatural power. We're interceding for children who feel overwhelmed by their circumstances, who want to give up, or who don't believe they have what it takes to overcome their challenges. We're also praying for the development of healthy coping mechanisms and for communities that build resilience rather than dependence. God's strength is made perfect in our weakness, and he often uses difficult circumstances to develop character and faith.
Today, let us pray for children who need strength to persevere, for those who feel weak, and vulnerable and for opportunities to help build resilience in young lives. May we be encouragers who point children to their ultimate source of strength in God.
