Addiction Rewritten: Addiction Takes, God ProvidesSample

When addiction confuses your path, God provides purpose.
Have you ever cried out for step-by-step instructions for life? Have you ever wanted someone to tell you exactly what to do so that you never have to worry about anything again? If addiction answered your cries, it likely left you with more questions than answers. Addiction makes you question who you are and why you’re here. It confuses your God-given purpose and passion with an all-consuming need for substance.
If you cry out for help again, listen instead for God’s answer. His promise is that in all things — even in addiction, relapse, regret, and rock bottom — He’s shaping your story. When you don’t know what to do, trust Him to guide your decisions. He isn’t afraid of your questions. He will answer all your prayers in His perfect timing.
Prayer
God, I often lose my way. I don’t know which direction to go, and I don’t feel like my life has meaning. Please guide me. Show me the next step I need to take. Help me find Your purpose for my life. Amen.

About this Plan

Addiction can take more than we realize — our peace, our identity, our relationships, and even our hope. But God is a provider, not a thief. In this 30-day devotional journey, you’ll uncover how God can meet you in the mess, rewrite your story, and restore what addiction tried to steal. With God, nothing is wasted. Addiction makes false promises, but God always delivers on His. Through Him, you have a powerful testimony worth sharing.
