All the Feels - Leading Our EmotionsSample

DAY 7: ANGER
Do you find yourself feeling frustrated, distant, easily agitated or annoyed?
Anger can seep out of us in many forms. A dirty look, a sharp tone, the cold shoulder or huffy attitude mumbling as you walk out of the room. Anger is one of our core emotions and if we are willing to look a bit deeper with curiosity, it's usually trying to tell us that something more is going on beneath the surface.
The scary part about anger is when left un-dealt with it tends to build up and boil over, often scalding the people closest to us. Feeling anger is not wrong, however acting out in anger is. God’s Word has many warnings to us about the damage human anger can cause in our lives + relationships.
Take the time to study today’s Scriptures and ask the Lord to help free you from hold that anger might have on you.
About this Plan

Feelings. We all have them. Some of us speak them out loud while others silently shut down. As we walk through life experiencing the highs and lows of celebrating, grieving and everything in between—what happens to us and our relationships when we let what we feel drive what we do? How can we lead our feelings instead of being led by them? Let’s learn how to authentically navigate "all the feels" according to God’s Word without allowing our emotions to cloud our experiences. 30 Day-Devo by Nicole Wiencek with Ashley Clement.
