Navigating Teen Life With Biblical WisdomSample

What Does the Bible Say About Astrology?
Key Scripture: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all.” (James 1:5)
Do the stars really hold your future? Astrology may seem harmless, but God warns against looking to the stars for answers. They were created to display His glory—not replace His wisdom. True identity and direction come from Christ, not horoscopes. Looking to anything other than God for guidance only distracts us from the One who holds our lives in His hands.
Live It Challenge: Next time you’re tempted to check a horoscope, pray instead. Ask God for wisdom, then post Psalm 19:1 to remind others that creation points us to the Creator.
Reflection Questions:
- Have you ever looked to astrology for direction, identity, or answers?
- How can you respond when friends or culture try to mix faith and astrology?
- How does knowing that God created the stars and named them, change your view of His power and intentionality?
Additional Scripture:
- James 1:5
- Psalm 19:1
- Psalm 147:4
- Leviticus 19:26
