Made for More: 30 Days of Experiencing More Life, Love, and FreedomSample

Day 30: Experiencing More: Life, Love, and Freedom
So much of Jesus’ life and mission—then and now—is to show us how the Kingdom works: who God is, who we are in Him, and what it means to belong securely to His family. Jesus teaches us how to overcome the lies we’ve believed and trade them for the truth so that we might become who we truly are in the Kingdom.
That may sound simple in theory, but it’s far from easy. Thankfully, with time, training, and experience, the way of the Kingdom can become more natural, even joyful. That’s why Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-30 (The Message):
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
Paul wrote to the church in Corinth not once, but twice—not because they were special, but because they were in trouble. He urged them to grow up, to mature, to deepen in intimacy with God and each other. Nearly every epistle carries the same message: Don’t live like that anymore. That’s not who you are. This is who you are now—so live like it. And, by the way, this life of love, freedom, and transformation? It’s violently opposed.
But we are not alone. Just as you wouldn’t leave your child in a dangerous situation without help, God hasn’t left us either. He gives us weapons to defend ourselves. He empowers us to use them. And, best of all, He assures us of victory. We’re not fighting for freedom—we’re fighting from it. That’s a far better place to fight from.
Living loved? There’s nothing better.
This kind of love sets us free—not to do whatever we want, but to be faithful, loyal, loving, and true. Learning to live loved takes time and practice. One of the first steps is confronting the false self—the version of you the kingdom of darkness loves to manipulate. That false self is where the enemy pulls strings, pushes buttons, and attempts to control you. But you can’t cut the strings if you don’t know where they are. As G.K. Chesterton wrote,
“Beware of no man more than yourself; we carry our worst enemies within us.”
So, if you’ve made it this far, well done! Your heart, your perseverance, your grace—it matters, and it’s beautiful. I hope you’ve been both encouraged and provoked; encouraged that in the Kingdom there’s always more, and provoked to keep seeking, training, and loving.
Imagine a world filled with sons and daughters walking in the Life, Love, and Freedom of the Kingdom—a world being set free from webs of hate and chains of bondage. One day, we will see the Kingdom come in full. Until then, we train. We love. We stay close to the Trinity and bring as many with us as we can.
As Paul said to Timothy in 1 Timothy 6:11-12:
“But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called…”
And later, Paul writes with a full heart in 2 Timothy 4:7:
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
May we do the same.
May we fight the good fight—because it’s worth it.
May we run our race with joy—because it matters.
May we keep the faith—because we have tasted the life, love, and freedom of the Larger Gospel.
And here’s the best part: the One who wrote this story, the One who loves your good heart, the One who desires your healing even more than you do—that One is with you, always.
You’ve got this, Beloved Son. You’ve got this, Precious Daughter.
So, here’s my final encouragement:
Chase after the Trinity— and let yourself be caught by the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit again and again.
He’s got this, He’s got you. Let’s keep going.
As you reflect on all this with God today, consider asking Him:
Jesus, what would be good for my heart on this last day? How might I celebrate the completion of this reading plan—and the fruit I’ve gained because I did it?
Holy Spirit, as I reflect on this journey, what were my favorite days—my top moments from each of the three themes: Life, Love, and Freedom?
Father, is there one phrase or sentence that feels like it’s just for me today? Would You help me hear it clearly and understand why it matters?
