From Need to MaturitySample

Day 5 — Maturity: Living in Love
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13:1–7 | Luke 23:33–34, 46
Maturity looks like love — a heart so resourced and secure in God that it can love generously, even when it hurts.
On the cross, Jesus said, “Father, forgive them” – Luke 23:34 (NIV). Even dying, He saw His mother’s need and cared for her.
This is what divine love looks like: steady, tender, unguarded.
Pause & Reflect:
- What does mature love look like in my relationships?
- Where do I withhold love out of fear or weariness?
- What’s one relationship where I can let God’s love overflow through me this week?
Journal Space:
- Where is love calling out more of me today?
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for showing me perfect love. Fill my heart with Your compassion and strength. Make me a man who loves well because I have been loved deeply, Amen.
