🎄✝️ the Christmas Tree: From the Cradle to the Cross ✨ 25 Days of Hope!Sample

Day 2: The Forbidden Fruit and the Fall — Genesis 3:1–7
🍎 Don’t Eat It! Adam, Stop!
Why do bad things happen so often in our world? Why do little children suffer from hunger in developing nations? Why are Christians persecuted across the globe?
These haunting questions have troubled followers of Christ for centuries. The answer takes us back to Genesis 3. In this ancient story, we find the first couple, Adam and Eve, doing the very thing God told them not to do—eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This tree was planted right in the middle of the garden.
Why was temptation placed so close—so easy to access? While we don’t have every answer, we do know this: God created humanity with the freedom to choose. He wanted Adam and Eve to love and serve Him willingly, not out of compulsion.
But Satan, disguised as a serpent, twisted God’s words and seduced the first couple into disobedience. The result wasn’t just the fall of Adam and Eve—it was the fall of all humanity. From that moment forward, every person has been born with a sinful nature because of that tragic choice.
Yet, the story doesn’t end there. Even after their failure, God came looking for Adam and Eve—not to crush them, but to correct them in love.
That’s the heart of Christmas. God entered our broken world in Jesus Christ to bring healing where sin brought pain. This Christmas, remember: the same God who walked into Eden still walks into our mess today—offering mercy, hope, and restoration.
🎄 Christmas Truth to Ponder: Even when we mess up, God comes to us with loving correction.
🙏 Today’s Action Step: Reach out to one person who has failed in the past and show them some Christmas love and grace.
