Mercy, Grace & Help

DAY 4 OF 5

COMING BOLDLY TO THE THRONE OF GRACE

Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace.” This is not a throne of judgment or distance. It is a throne of help, available to every believer—anytime, anywhere.

Two Dimensions of Mercy in the Scripture:

  1. Mercy God gives by His sovereign choice—like Isaac, Jacob, Pharaoh, and Cyrus.
  2. Mercy available at the throne of grace—which you must come for through faith.

The first is God’s prerogative; the second is your decision. Grace makes this throne accessible. You simply need to come.

Come in Three Ways:

  1. Come Seeing – See Jesus as High Priest, compassionate and ready to help.
  2. Come Confessing – Your confession activates His priesthood.
  3. Come Boldly – Boldness is confidence in God’s love and Christ’s finished work.

At the throne, three things become available:

  • Mercy for weakness
  • Grace for your assignment
  • Help for your need

Whatever you face today—pressure, delay, confusion, weakness, or fear—God invites you to come boldly. The help you need is not far; it’s already at the throne.

Reflection Question

Which area of your life needs mercy, grace, or help today—and how can you approach God boldly about it?

Daily Prayer

Father, thank You for the open invitation to come boldly. I receive mercy, I find grace, and I receive divine help for every need. Strengthen me to walk in confidence and trust. Amen.
