DAY 1 — CHRIST AS THE CENTER OF MY WORLDVIEW

Key verse:

“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”—Colossians 3:2

A worldview is simply the lens through which you see reality. Everyone has one, but not everyone recognizes theirs. Your worldview is shaped far deeper than your visible behavior; it is formed beneath the surface — by your beliefs, your values, and ultimately by what (or who) you worship. Scripture teaches us that following Jesus begins with a renewed mind and a transformed way of seeing the world. When Christ becomes the lens, clarity comes. When culture becomes the lens, distortion comes.

Authenticity in the Kingdom means reflecting who Christ truly is — not who the world expects you to be. Jesus is the perfect image of the Father (Colossians 1:15), the One we imitate. As we allow the Holy Spirit to shape our worldview, we begin seeing people as Jesus sees them, loving as He loves, and discerning reality through the truth of Scripture rather than the noise of society.

Every revelation of Christ changes the way you see. When you discover God as Father, your worldview shifts from insecurity to belonging. When you discover grace, your worldview shifts from striving to rest. When you discover identity, your worldview shifts from comparison to purpose. Revelation leads to transformation — and transformation leads to a new way of seeing everything.

To live with a Kingdom worldview is not to deny the realities of this world, but to interpret them through a higher truth. You begin to ask: Jesus, what do You see here? Spirit, what are You showing me? Father, how do You want me to respond? Christ becomes the filter. Christ becomes the measure. Christ becomes the worldview.

Prayer:

Jesus, reshape the way I see. Remove the filters of culture, fear, and past experiences, and restore the lens of truth. Holy Spirit, align my thoughts, values, and beliefs with the heart of Christ. Father, let my worldview reflect Your Kingdom and not this world. Make me authentic — one who sees and lives like Jesus. Amen.
