RESTOREDSample

A Seat at the Table
David does not stop at rescue. He brings Mephibosheth close. He restores his land, his position, and then gives him something deeply personal—a seat at the king’s table continually.
That word matters. Restoration was not a moment. It became a way of life.
This is where David clearly points us to Jesus. Jesus is the true King who remembers us, calls us, and restores us by bringing us near. Identity is not restored at a distance. It is restored in relationship.
The table is where sons and daughters belong—not guests, not outsiders, not survivors.
So ask yourself today. Do I see myself as a guest—or as family? Have I been near Jesus, yet still living like I don’t belong?
Leaving Lo Debar is not about perfection. It’s about proximity.
Reflection Questions:
What would change if I lived from belonging instead of fear?
Am I willing to take my place at the table?
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for inviting me to Your table.
Declaration:
My identity is restored when I sit with Jesus.
About this Plan

God remembers you—no matter where you are or how long it has been. In this 6-day devotional, we journey through David and Mephibosheth’s story to discover how identity is restored after pain, silence, and long waiting seasons. If life once dropped you and growth stalled, this plan will help you leave Lo Debar and rediscover who you are at the King’s table.
