Chapter 2 – The List of Returnees

Ezra 2:70– “The priests, the Levites, the musicians, the gatekeepers and the temple servants settled in their own towns, along with some of the other people, and the rest of the Israelites settled in their towns.”

Historical Context: Ezra records the names of those who returned, showing God’s faithfulness to gather His people according to His promises.

Faith Reflection: God remembers His people and His promises. Faith grows when we reflect on God’s consistent faithfulness across generations.

Application:

  • Recall God’s faithfulness in your life, family, or church.
  • Trust Him to fulfill His promises even when fulfillment seems delayed.

Declaration:
I declare that God remembers His promises to me. I am part of His faithful people, and His plans for my life are sure. God is faithful; He remembers His promises and fulfills them in my life and family.
