Day 7 — God Swallows the Rods

Exodus 7:12 (NKJV)

“For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.”

AMP: “Each man threw down his staff and they turned into serpents; but Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.”

Introduction

Today, God announces over your life, “I am swallowing the rods again.”

Every rod represents a system, structure, spell, accusation, or resistance raised against your destiny. Your EL Advantage is not just favour; it is a dominating power.

You are entering a year where what is raised against you will not just fall; it will be swallowed.

This is not survival. This is divine superiority.

Deep THOUGHT

The rod-swallowing moment in Exodus is more than a miracle; it is a divine statement:

“My people don’t compete; they dominate.”

Here are three prophetic dimensions behind this moment:

1. God Establishes Superiority Before the Real Battle Begins

Before Moses confronted Pharaoh fully, God first established a spiritual order:

“My power outranks every other power.”

El-Advantage means God settles battles in the spiritual realm before the physical manifestation.

Never forget this: Your victory is decided before your battle is visible.

2. Your Rod Carries Your Identity and Authority

In ancient culture, your rod represented your identity and mandate. When Aaron’s rod swallowed the rods of the magicians, it was symbolic:

Your identity in God is superior to every counterfeit identity.

Your authority is not negotiable.

Your calling cannot be suppressed.

God will swallow anything questioning your identity in 2026.

It wasn’t a tie.
