The Father’s TableSample

One of the lies the devil seeks to bring into our lives is that we are unworthy. The enemy is the accuser, and he works to sow lies in the church—seeds of sin, guilt, and unworthiness—making us believe that the blood of Christ may be able to cover the sins of others, but not yours. In this way, he tries to draw us away, causing us to isolate ourselves, until very soon we find ourselves wandering in a land of dry bones, without life and burdened with heavy loads.
But the truth of Jesus is that He came to give us eternal life—life in abundance here on this earth: an abundance of peace, an abundance of His glory, an abundance of joy, among many other blessings.
He wants to free us from a life of sin and from the burdens of the past—burdens we placed on ourselves or even those others placed on our shoulders—that today seek to steal our identity and cloud our understanding that we are children of the King.
From the Gospel of John:
John 3:16 (New International Version)
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
And this reminder comes to us in His Word, The Bible, the greatest love story ever told. In every biblical story, we can see the character of our Father. His Word is an invitation to return to His house and remain with Him forever.
Allow yourself to be found by God and to be drawn each day by His bonds of love.
Because of Jesus, who has prepared an eternal dwelling for you and for me in the Father’s house, we can be certain that there is hope, that the Father loves us, and that today He rejoices to have a place at His table for you.
