Take That Bold StepSample

Introduction
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16 [NIV]
The Bible invites believers to approach God with confidence and boldness. Because Jesus Christ died for our sins, the barrier that once separated humanity from God has been removed. Through Christ, we now have direct access to God’s throne of grace.
The Book of Hebrews reminds us that we can come boldly before God to obtain mercy and find grace in times of need. This boldness is not arrogance but confidence rooted in our relationship with Christ.
However, boldness is not only needed in our relationship with God; it is also required in the decisions we make in life. Many believers desire progress, transformation, and greater impact, yet they remain stuck because they hesitate to take the step God is asking of them.
Progress often begins with a courageous act of faith.
Sometimes that step may involve:
- Starting a new venture
- Applying for a new opportunity
- Deepening your commitment to prayer and the Word
- Walking into an unfamiliar assignment from God
If you refuse to take that bold step, you may remain in the same spot while the future God prepared for you waits ahead.
In this transformative Journey for the next three (3) days, we will explore how boldness, faith, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit enable us to step into God’s purpose.
Boldness Begins with Obedience
When God called Abraham, He asked him to leave everything familiar: his country, his family, and his father’s house. God did not show Abraham the entire plan. Instead, He simply said He would lead him to a land that He would reveal later.
This instruction required tremendous courage. Abraham had to trust God without knowing the details of the journey ahead.
Abraham’s decision to obey God’s voice was the bold step that positioned him to become the father of many nations.
Later, the Book of Hebrews recorded this act as a demonstration of faith:
“By faith Abraham… obeyed; and he went out, not knowing where he was going.” (Hebrews 11:8)
This teaches us an important truth: obedience unlocks destiny.
God may not always reveal the entire picture before asking you to move. Sometimes the miracle begins after the first step of obedience.
Many believers delay their progress because they are waiting for perfect clarity. But faith often requires movement before full understanding.
What bold step might God be asking you to take today?
- Starting a new business
- Applying for a job opportunity
- Launching a ministry assignment
- Committing to serious Bible study
- Deepening your prayer life
Your obedience today may be the doorway to tomorrow’s breakthrough.
Prayer:
Father, give me the courage to obey Your voice even when the path is not fully clear. Help me trust Your guidance and take the bold step that leads to Your purpose for my life.
Declaration:
I choose obedience over fear. I step forward in faith, trusting that God is leading me into His divine purpose.
About this Plan

Believers are called to approach God with confidence because the sacrifice of Jesus Christ has removed every barrier between humanity and God, granting direct access to His grace. This boldness, rooted in relationship and not arrogance, which enables us to receive mercy in times of need. Beyond prayer, boldness is essential in life decisions. Many remain stagnant, not due to lack of desire, but fear of action. True progress, transformation, and impact begin when faith is expressed through courageous steps aligned with God’s leading.
