Forgiven Sample

"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins." (Acts 10:43 KJV)

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior—He washes you, He cleanses you, He makes you whole. The blood of Jesus Christ covers you. For Psalm 103:12 declares, "He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west." (NLT) He sets you apart. He sets you free. For He removes the guilt, shame, and defeat of the past.

For Romans 6:1–2 declares, "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" Choose not to engage in sin once again. When God sets you free from the entanglement of sin—choose not to be tied in that yoke of bondage. For whosoever believeth in the Name of the Lord shall receive remission of sins. Choose to die to sin. Choose to die to the ways of sin. Choose to die to the wages of sin.

For the Amplified Version expounds upon Romans 6:23 in the following manner: "For the wages which sin pays is death; but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord." (AMPC)

Choose to trust in Him. Rely on Him. Adhere to Christ and His Way of doing things. For Acts 10:43 declares, "To Him all the prophets testify (bear witness) that everyone who believes in Him [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] receives forgiveness of sins through His name." (AMPC)

Receive forgiveness. For you are forgiven. You are set free.
