Leading Through HeartbreakSample

Jesus: The Ultimate Heartbreak
Jesus experienced heartbreak at every level.
He was betrayed by one of His own disciples.
He was abandoned by those closest to Him.
He was misunderstood, mocked, and ultimately crucified.
If heartbreak were a sign of failure, the cross would have ended everything.
But it didn’t.
The cross became the very place where redemption was established.
That changes how we see pain.
Heartbreak does not cancel calling. In many cases, it confirms that you are walking in it. In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed honestly. He acknowledged the weight of what He was about to face. “If it is possible, let this cup pass from me.”
That’s real.
But He didn’t stop there.
“Yet not my will, but Yours be done.”
That’s obedience.
For pioneers, this is the defining line:
Will you continue when it becomes difficult?
Will you stay committed when it costs you emotionally?
There will be moments where your heart feels stretched, disappointed, or even broken.
In those moments:
- Stay with the plan.
- Stay in obedience.
- Stay close to Jesus.
He understands what you’re carrying.
Hebrews says that Jesus endured the cross because of the joy set before Him. He could see beyond the pain to the purpose.
You may not see the full picture yet. But obedience in the present leads to clarity in the future.
Surrender is not weakness. It is strength under control.
And just like the cross was not the end, your current season is not the end either.
There is more beyond this.
Reflection Question:
Will you remain obedient, even when obedience is costly?
About this Plan

Heartbreak is not the end of a calling. Many biblical pioneers endured betrayal, delay, and deep disappointment. This 3-day plan will help you remain steady and faithful to what God has called you to do, even when your heart feels torn apart.
