STAND OUT THROUGH PURPOSESample

The Question That Changes Everything
Mark Twain said there are two important days in your life: the day you are born and the day you find out why.
Most of us know our birthday. Very few of us have settled the second question.
And the problem with not knowing your "why" is that someone else fills in the blank for you. The market tells you what to chase. Your parents tell you what success looks like. Social media tells you who to become. And before long, you are running very fast in a direction you never chose.
John 1:3 reminds us that everything was made through Jesus. Nothing about your life is accidental. Isaiah 43:7 adds that you were created for God’s glory. That means your life has meaning, direction, and value because it comes from Him.
When God created you, He was intentional. You are not here by mistake, and you are not here to blend in. Jesus said in Matthew 5:16 that your light should shine so others can see your good works and glorify God. Wherever you find yourself (school, work, ministry, business, or home) you carry God’s glory. Shining is not pride. Shining is obedience.
Genesis 2:7 tells us God breathed life into humanity. That breath still speaks today. It means God is personally invested in you. He formed you, filled you, and positioned you. If He created you, He can also sustain you, restore you, and guide you.
Many people wait for permission to shine. God has already given it. Your responsibility is to show up fully as who He made you to be. Do not shrink because others are shining. Do not hide because your season feels quiet. Light does not compete with light. It simply shines.
Constantly remind yourself of this: I was created on purpose, for a purpose, and with purpose. When you live from that truth, your confidence will grow, fear will lose its grip, and you will not have a reason to compare yourself with another anymore.
If you do not know who put you here, you will never know what you are truly worth. Not to an employer. Not to a spouse. Not to a generation. Worth is set by the manufacturer. And you will not find it in the market.
Ask:
Answer only one question: "Who put me here?" Write one sentence. Take your time with it.

About this Plan

Busy is not the same as effective. I want to be careful with that sentence because a lot of people reading this are exhausted. They are working hard. They are doing everything they know to do. And they are still wondering because it doesn't feel like it. The answer is usually alignment. In this 5-day plan, we study the "5 Ps" that separate the people who stand out from the people who merely show up. These are spiritual laws. They are the difference between striving and flowing. If you are tired of blending in, this is your starting line.
