KNOW GOD'S HEART
Read Genesis 3:17-24.
Listen carefully to the Lord as you read this passage. What does God say to Adam in verse 17? Why do you think He says this?
TAKE IT TO HEART
Read Proverbs 18:21.
Slowly and prayerfully read through today's Scripture. Copy and paste it into an email or text to yourself and/or write it on a 3x5 card and post it where you will see it - on your refrigerator, by your desk, or on your mirror. Hide it in your heart and meditate on it today.
SHARE GOD'S HEART
Think of a time when you may have led your husband into sin (by example or invitation). Confess this to the Lord and ask Him for forgiveness. In your prayer time today, ask the Lord to help open your eyes the next time you are tempted to go ahead of your husband, lord over him, or lead him into sin. Ask Him to give you grace to do what is right in that moment.
About this Plan
As wives, our call is to love and respect our husbands out of reverence for Christ. Not an easy task! This reading plan will be a great encouragement to you. It will help you look to Christ to deepen your love for your husband, develop a biblical perspective of your role as his wife, instill romance in your relationship, and strengthen your walk with Him!
