MarginSample
No matter how much stress your finances are causing you, financial margin is possible. It all starts with one action and that is to put God first in your finances. In our culture, we tend to come first when it comes to finances. If we want it, we’re going to get it and whatever is left over will go to God. But when we truly seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, then everything else will be added unto us.
Seeking Him first is not all about the tithe, although that is a big part of it, but it’s about being prayerful, being close to God, and genuinely asking Him, "God, how would You have me manage the resources that You entrust to my care?" It’s also about sincerely seeking His will and His direction. When we put Him first, we’re going to see some of the most incredible benefits in our lives. One of these benefits is that we experience God’s blessings.
Malachi 3 teaches us that when we bring our first and best to God, He will bless the rest. It teaches that God can do more with our 90% than we can with 100%. Blessings don’t always mean financial or material, but you’ll experience His blessings when you put God first in your life through the tithe. Just put Him to the test as He asks us to in Malachi 3. Are you putting God first in your finances? Why or why not?

About this Plan
Sometimes it seems like the only way to keep up with all the demands on our lives is to run at maximum capacity—and then some. But there is another way, one where we have room to breathe and space to respond to what God brings our way. This reading plan features a variety of devotional readings, video teaching from Craig Groeschel, and videos of everyday people living with margin in their lives.
