Kong Hee: God’s Vision For YouSample
God’s Vision for Your Life
God revealed the vision He had for Abraham’s life when Abraham was already 75 years old. God said that He would bless Abraham’s descendants, make them into a great nation, and give them a home in a fertile land. This was the beginning of God’s vision for Abraham.
There was one problem; Abraham didn’t have a son! How could God’s vision for Abraham’s life come true if he didn’t even have one descendant yet at his old age?
Though Abraham continued to faithfully obey all of God’s commands, he grew frightened and confused. He had waited for God’s vision to come to pass for many years and began to lose faith in God’s promises.
Knowing Abraham’s heart, God came to him and said, “Do not be afraid… I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward” (Gen. 15:1). God didn’t respond to Abraham’s fears by giving him every detail of His plan. Instead, God reminded Abraham that He cared for him, that He protected him, and that He would reward him! And sure enough, God was faithful to give Abraham a son, Isaac.
Experiencing God’s vision for you can be a frightening process. But by trusting God and placing your faith entirely in Him, you can be certain that God will accomplish all that He has envisioned for your life!
Prayer for the day:
Ask God to help you trust Him completely, and pray that you will faithfully obey all of His commands as He leads you in your daily walk with Him.

About this Plan
God has a vision for your life! By trusting God and placing your faith in Him, you can believe without any doubt that He will accomplish all that He has envisioned for you. When Abraham thought his situation was hopeless, God brought him outside the tent and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars.” There were thousands of stars shining brilliantly in the night sky, each one representing an amazing promise that He has made toward Abraham, as well as to you! And He remembers every single one!
