The Word Of God PlanSample
Psalm 1
Today will be your second reading of Psalm 1. Don’t feel like you know everything about the Psalm because you’ve read it before, there is always more to God’s Word as we come back to familiar passages. The point of spending time with Psalm 1 is to let it soak into your life.
After you’ve read the passage for the first time, take your time to read it again. Is there an image that grabs you in some way? Dwell on that image; give it your full attention. Is there something about the Psalm you want to ask God about? Be quiet and rest in God’s presence.
What does this passage say about who you are?
“When you read God's Word, you must constantly be saying to yourself, ‘It is talking to me, and about me.’"
--Soren Kierkegaard
