The Word Of God PlanSample

How do we come to the Word of God? (continued from yesterday)
Today we are looking at a few more passages about how we are to come to the Bible. When you come to God’s Word, take the time necessary to examine it, to listen and hear it, to hide it in your heart, to ponder it, to hold it firmly, to consider it and to “eat” it. As you deeply reflect on the Scriptures, God will use them in your life to help you to know him and obey him with more depth each day.
“Bible engagement is the process whereby people are connected with the Bible such that they have meaningful encounters with Jesus Christ and their lives are progressively transformed in Him.”
--Dr. Lawson Murray, President Scripture Union Canada
