Dealin' with Feelin'Sample

David was a man in the Bible who lived hundreds of years before Jesus was even born. The Bible said God really liked David's heart. David was never afraid to share his feelings with God. This story tells about a time when David got really angry because he felt like a rude man named Nabal treated him unfairly. Thanks to Nabal's wife Abigail, David kept his anger under control.

About this Plan

What do I do when I feel mad, sad, bad, or glad? God made us with emotions. The Bible shows us God has emotions, too. Emotions aren’t bad, but they can often lead us to make sinful, selfish choices. Since emotions are common ground we share with God, they're a way we can get closer to Him and learn more about Him. This family plan with supporting videos can help kids learn what the Bible has to say about dealing with our feelings.
