Born For More

DAY 2 OF 7

I believe God is ready to open the windows of Heaven and give you abundance in the things, the gifts, the dreams, the prayers, the desires, and the wishes that He has put inside of you. But first, He wants to see if you’ll use what He’s already put in your hand. This is just like when the master in Matthew 25 says, “They will have an abundance. But for those who do nothing with what I’ve given them, even what little they have will be taken away.”

We will give an account of what we do with our time on this earth. The Lord has given us a bag of silver, our potential, and He’s saying, “What are you going to do with what I have given you?”

I used to think that people were born with certain natural abilities, natural capacities. I mean, Steve Jobs, he was a level ten leader. Bill Gates, he’s a level ten leader. I believed these men were born with an innate measure of intelligence, follow-through, genius, and success.

However, it’s just not true. It’s a myth. You are not born with limitations or some predetermined capacity for greatness. You are born with possibilities.

What is greatness? It is this idea of being set apart or standing out because of the things you do. You were created to stand apart. You were not born to stay where you are; you were born to rise above. You were born to come up higher. You were born to multiply the gifts and talents that are inside you.

In the eyes of God, greatness is obedience in small things, faithfulness in the mundane, and boldness in proclaiming His name. These are the things that God recognizes. God has already imbued you with a purpose and a calling to do what furthers the kingdom and brings fullness to your life.

Your faithfulness today is what opens the doors of tomorrow.

You know the difference between the people who succeed and the people who fail? It’s that the people who succeed, get back up and try harder in the midst of their failures. They’re not afraid to take risks. They’re not afraid to experiment. They’re not afraid to step out. They’re not afraid to keep moving forward; therefore, they keep growing closer and closer towards success.

The question is, “Do you believe you were born for more?”
