Broaden Your HorizonSample
Unexpected Horizons
The idea of expanding our horizons is not limited to the new, creative and exciting. We sometimes venture into the unknown in unexpected ways. The cause may be a job change or a financial hardship. For Pat Williams, it was a serious cancer battle that helped broaden his sharing horizons.

Beyond hardships we experience, personal failures can also be used in unexpected ways. The apostle Peter experienced a low point in his life that shaped how he later shared Christ. At the trial of Jesus, he denied knowing Christ - not once, but three times. Yet he went on to preach a sermon where thousands were saved. So no matter what you are facing, or how you have responded in the past, God can use you. When you face the unexpected, let the Holy Spirit guide you to new ways to help others experience Jesus. Let your horizons grow when you encounter the unexpected.
