Philippians - Choosing JoySample

Read: Philippians 3:5-11
SOAP: Philippians 3:8-9
In light of what we have in Christ, nothing compares. Nothing this world has to offer comes even close to the blessing of having a personal relationship with Jesus… NOTHING. May our hearts yearn for more of Him and less of this world. May we be women who seek after God’s righteousness - not out of pride but out of love. May we yearn for more of Him because He first loved us.

About this Plan

Joy is the theme in the book of Philippians, which is pretty amazing considering this letter was written by Paul while he was in prison. How is it possible to have joy in the midst of overwhelming sorrow and suffering? In the end, Paul teaches us that Jesus is the Author and only source of true joy.
