Courageous Humility Pt. 1Sample
Water is perhaps the most important element the human body needs for survival. The Live Science website informs, a human being can live about three days without water, although some have survived eight to ten days. Is this our perspective on the Holy Spirit, which is described as “living water”? Do we understand our need as Christians to rely on the Holy Spirit for “hydration” of our souls? Live Science also shares the human body cannot digest or absorb nutrients, or remove waste, without water.
We need the Holy Spirit to keep us hydrated. We need the Holy Spirit to help us digest the Word of God, and enable us to absorb divine nutrients needed for the day. We also need to allow the Holy Spirit to rid us of the waste that no longer serves His will in our lives and better make room for His fullness. But what is our perspective on the Holy Spirit of God? Do we know He is a very present person in our lives? Is His Spirit within us like a mighty river of living water? Are we compelled to courageously seek the Lord and ask Him for a fresh outpouring of His Spirit in our lives, reminding us He lives within and flows from our hearts?
Prayer: Spirit of God, provide a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon and within Your people. Move us to come to You boldly this morning, and throughout the day and days ahead, seeking Your presence and Spirit! Where there may seem only a trickle, add to the drops and create a well flowing river. Cause that river to be a mighty river flowing from our hearts and pouring out into the lives of others. Spirit of God, bless us with the ability to digest Your Word and absorb the nutrients You intend to impart to us. Revive us with Your Spirit, Jesus! Carry away with conviction the wasteful places and fill what is left with You. Lord, we thank You and praise You in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen!

About this Plan
Be strong. Be Alert. Be Courageous. These words are the premise of this 30 day study where you will uncover God's desire for you to call out to Him, and trust He will hear. Not only hear, but set you on sure footing, a path He sets before you, for your sake and the sake of those around you. From there you will dig into Scripture around what it means to courageously step into God's presence, how to do so, and what you can expect as a result of going into His presence. Finally, you will be encouraged to step towards the healing Christ offers, both individually, and as the collective Bride of Christ. Each day you will be encouraged to ask questions, seek answers in God & His Word, and identify the step YOU sense the Holy Spirit compelling you to take. Courage accompanies ACTION, and Christ reveals to us where to move next, while the Holy Spirit empowers us to do so!
