CULTURE OR CHRIST

During the summer my small group goes to the beach as much as possible. I can't tell you how many times I've been skim-boarding or swimming and didn't realize that I was slowly moving further down the beach. It's not until I look to find my chair that I realize I had drifted halfway down the beach. The Christian life can often be like a trip to the beach. Many times you start off right, but if you aren't intentional about staying aligned with Christ you will drift further from the life He has for you.

In the verse you read today, you see that Paul talks about this to the Romans. You are either aligning yourself with culture or you are aligning yourself with Christ. This will not be a one-time event. You have to renew your mind every single day. This must become a lifestyle. Over the next few days, we will go over a few ways to help align yourself with God.
