Bring What You HaveSample
Bread of Life
Jesus is the bread of life given to us as believers to fill our souls. He is our substance and we are to eat of Him daily. This means we should seek Him daily and do life in constant communication with Him. We need Him to fill us spiritually. Look at the parallel in this story between the bread and Jesus. Jesus is blessed. He is God in the flesh. His body was broken on a cross for our sins just like the bread was broken before being given to the crowd. Jesus gave the bread out to the people just as He gives Himself to us through the Holy Spirit. Just as the crowd was hungry for bread to feed their physical bodies, we are spiritually hungry for Jesus. When we choose to partake of Him or receive the Holy Spirit, we are not only filled, but like the crowd at the picnic, we are satisfied.

About this Plan
The famous miracle of Jesus feeding the five thousand is one of the most astounding miracles recorded in the Bible. It’s so astounding that it’s included in all four Gospels. In this story, Jesus shows us how He uses unexpected people, simple acts of faith, and everyday resources to show His glory. In this plan, we see who Jesus is and how He uses ordinary things to bring about extraordinary results in our lives. Join me in this five-day reading plan and see how this story relates to us today.
