Thirty-One Truths: Who I Am in ChristSample

GIVEN MERCY
God’s great compassion towards us and pity on us.
READ: Ephesians 2:1-4
READ: Matthew 18:23-35
Because God has been merciful to us, we want to be merciful to others. Are there times that you have not shown compassion to someone else? Why? How easy is it to look down upon others for one reason or another?
WRONG THINKING: God doesn’t care. He has no sensitivity to the problems and issues that I face.
RIGHT THINKING: God’s mercy is great. He has such kind compassion and pity on me in all my afflictions. Therefore, I should be compassionate to others as well.
