Personal Time with God // Section 1: Praying
As we continue to talk about prayer, this is perhaps one of the most interesting passages on prayer and asking God for our needs. These words have some real power. Many times we consider asking God consistently for something is simply a lack of faith that He’ll do it the first time we ask. Often, however, persistence in prayer is for us more than for God – do we really want what we’re asking for? And at the end of the passage, this type of persistent prayer is actually compared to faith! God is a just God – if we continue to present our requests to Him, won’t He certainly see that we get justice?
Practical Steps: Over the next few weeks, continually ask God to move in the hearts of those around you who don’t know Jesus.
