The first item in the Nuba, Koalib Ngirere language was the Gospel of Mark in 1937. Then various portions were printed until the New Testament was published in Khartoum in 1967 by the British and Foreign Bible Society. It was translated by Florence B. Lunn, E.J. Lambie and L.P. Dale, and a committee of Sudanese. Use was made of the tentative translation of L.E. Mills.
