Holidays With Jesus: Christmas預覽

How have you enjoyed your Christmas season with Jesus so far? I hope each day is bringing you closer to His amazing heart!

Today, sit down with Jesus and plan a Christmas date with Him! 

It can be anything: dining at home or dining out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner...a movie at home or at the movie theater...a coffee date...shopping...a Christmas concert...a walk through the park...anything!

It’s a special time of treasuring and delighting in Jesus, and a way of making sure He is our top priority.

I have some of my best conversations with Jesus on these special dates. I talk with Jesus about how much I love and adore Him, ask Him if there is anything He would like to do in my life or through me, and I also seek to clean my heart and conscience as much as possible during our special talks, too.

It’s a time of totally adoring Jesus, doing my best to make Him feel as loved as possible, and offering my God-given abilities, talents, and heart completely to Him.

I love to spend special time with Jesus daily, and I also love to have special dates at least once or twice a month throughout the year. I cherish my time with just Him!

I already shared how my family and I go look at Christmas lights together each Christmas season, but one tradition I love to do during December is to get in the car by myself, go through a drive thru to get some holiday flavored coffee or hot chocolate, turn on some quiet Christmas music, and then drive around looking at Christmas lights with just Jesus and me. I talk with Jesus and sing to Him as well. 

Adoring and loving Jesus is my favorite thing about life!

What special time, event, or activity can you choose to do with Jesus this month? He is so incredibly easy to love and adore...what a privilege we have in getting to spend special time with Him!!

Prayer: “Jesus, I absolutely love, adore, and delight in You! Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do in my heart and life, and also in my family member’s hearts and lives! I am so grateful You allow us to talk to You, spend time with You, and hear from Your amazing heart each and every day! What a marvelous  privilege and “love gift” it is that You care so much about us – and how You allow us to have full access to You, Your heart, and a special Friendship with You! Jesus, I pray You will soften and speak to hearts everywhere so they can know You…to fully know you in the most beautiful way as much as possible! Thank you so very much for all You do for us! We love you so much, Lord! In Your precious name we pray, Amen!”
