Minor Adjustments: "Anywhere But Backward"預覽
"Living Victorious"
Living victorious does not mean freedom from temptation, nor does it mean freedom from mistakes or losing. But you must never be satisfied with losing or even be happy with your mistakes. You must get angry, terribly angry, about losing and your mistakes. But the mark of the good loser is that they take their anger out on themselves (meaning they assume the responsibility for their actions) and they draw closer to God. The Bible reveals in Zechariah 4:6 that it’s “'Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the Lord.” Victory is always possible for that person who refuses to stop fighting to obtain and maintain LIVING VICTORIOUS!
- The word living means power of continuing life; the act of life, or living comfortably.
· What does living victorious mean to you?
· Where should you start to obtain a victorious life?
· Why is having a victorious life important?
· How do you maintain a victorious life?
· Is it possible to learn from your mistakes and losses?
You have something special in you that gives you an advantage. You have seeds of greatness in you, but you still must become significant. You can overcome any obstacle and achieve your purpose in life. When you realize the importance that has been put inside of you, there is nothing you can’t do. No dream is too big. No challenge is too great. You have to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2), and then set that renewed mind in motion and determine in your heart that no matter what happens, you’re willing to go anywhere but BACKWARD. Tell yourself, "I’m LIVING VICTORIOUS!"
There is nothing as exciting as winning! The taste of victory in our lives is sweet! Many men or women will finally succeed only because they have failed after repeated efforts. If they had never met defeat, they would never have known any great victory. You will find peace not by trying to escape your problems, but by confronting them courageously. You will find peace not in denial, but in the victory. In every adversity there lies the seed of an advantage. In every defeat is a lesson showing you how to win the victory next time. Your Victorious Living is right around the corner. Never give up, no matter what it looks like.
- The word victorious means conquering; winning; triumphant, champion, on top, having defeated an adversary.
· Who’s winning in your personal war?
· What gives them the advantage?
· What area of your life can you get the best lesson from?
· Do you know your advantages?
"Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the award] and make it yours" (1 Corinthians 9:24). You have to put your future in good hands–and that’s God.
We hope this plan encouraged you.
