GO2020 | ENGAGE: May Week 3 - GO預覽
May 18—Stewardship
Read
1 Corinthians 4:1-2
Reflect
We are servants of Christ. The responsibility of a servant is to do what we are asked. Our chief task is to steward the mysteries of God. We have been charged to make known the good news of salvation that comes through Jesus Christ. Jesus gives warnings in the Gospels about unworthy or unjust stewards (e.g., Luke 16:1-13). As stewards of the good news, we are required to be faithful. How have you been faithful as a steward of the mysteries of God?
Engage
Read today’s Scripture passage. Say or write it out in your own words, considering the following questions:
· What does it say about God?
· What does it say about us?
· Is there a promise to trust?
· Is there a command to obey?
· How will I apply this Scripture to my life?
· Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth?
Memorize
Now read this week’s memory verse, 1 Thessalonians 2:4. Spend a few minutes beginning to memorize it.
關於此計劃
GO2020 is focused on mobilizing every believer to be a witness of Jesus Christ. Part of being mobilized is understanding the incredible responsibility God has entrusted to us—the good news of the kingdom! God has approved us for this task. Approved and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we can overcome the fear of man and speak boldly the words of God.
