Simple Steps Toward Intentional Disciplemaking預覽
Introduction
How did Jesus make disciples? These six vital elements can help us walk in Jesus’ footsteps as we help others grow. As you read about these practical disciple-making methods, I hope you will prayerfully consider whom God is inviting you to invest in.
Day 1: Select Someone to Disciple
At the funeral of Billy Graham, his son Ned said, “I just want you to know that my father was F-A-T. He was faithful. He was available, and he was teachable, and I want each of you to remember that: faithful, available, teachable. May we all be that way.”
As disciple-makers, these characteristics should apply to us as much as to those we seek to disciple. Followers of Christ must remain faithful to abiding in Christ and partnering in the work of the Kingdom. We must be available, ready to be used by God in His timing. And we must be teachable, eager to be instructed from His Word and by His Spirit.
When considering someone we might disciple, these characteristics are helpful guideposts.

Every believer is called to make disciples. If God has given you a fresh vision for helping people know Christ, grow in their relationship with Him, and help others do the same, you are in an exciting place—at the core of Jesus’ Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)! Over the next six days we will explore how Jesus helped people grow spiritually—principles that are still essential for disciplemakers today.
