Tune My Heart預覽
In the midst of trying and difficult times, it can be easy to forget God’s goodness. We sometimes forget that His goodness and mercy follow us, even chase after us.
If we forget that we are already accepted, covered, held, known, and beloved, we start grasping for “good,” as if we don’t already have access to the giver of every good thing.
I’d never want to sing a song with an out-of-tune guitar, but sometimes I’m living with a heart that is out of tune. All because I don’t take the time to restore my heart to its rightful place, to a place of gratitude for a love that will never leave me.
In a world full of obstacles, controversy, and occasional sorrows, we all need a tune-up at times. As followers of Jesus, we’ve got to remember who He is, what He says, and what He’s done for us.
We should sing His grace over and over. Because of what He did on the Cross, it’s a song that will never ever grow old. We can’t sing it too much or too loudly.
While we were still sinners, Love gave Himself up for us and walked out of the grave so that we could taste the sweetness of mercy and healing. That is a powerful song. Sometimes we have to tune our hearts again to what He’s done so that we don’t forget the power of the goodness of God.
Did you know that if you put two grand pianos in a room and play a note on one of them the corresponding string in the other piano will start to vibrate? I want the note God is playing to resonate in my heart. In all situations, we should tune in to that one great song of the universe: Jesus Christ.
Let your prayer today be, “God help us remember your goodness and faithfulness in all situations. Tune our hearts to see your perspective. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
關於此計劃
We have to be careful of what defines our heart because it is what instructs, guides, and leads us. We need to develop our ability to tune into God’s voice at all times and be able to tune out distractions that block His voice. We can tune out all voices of criticism, doubt, unbelief, and negativity every day by tuning our hearts into God and His Word.
