Speak to Their Heart: 5 Ways to Love Your Spouse Well 預覽
Keep the adventure alive
I answer emails weekly about the spark dying out and marriages becoming complacent. Today, assess if you have grown too comfortable in routines. Is your marriage full of fun? Is it a source of joy? Or do you find yourself feeling bored and stuck?
The scriptures we read today speak to the continued joy and fullness of life that accompany us when we walk closely with God. “Complete joy,” and being “filled with joy” are not meant to be distant dreams as we follow Christ through our days.
Ask Him for fresh vision and purpose in your marriage. Your marriage brings something unique to the world that no other two people can; a purpose the Lord has ordained just for you two; a reflection of God’s love; the legacy you will leave and the impact your marriage has on the world around you. Being faithful to love one another well is a vital part of this.
Today, let your spouse know you don’t want your marriage to be stale and boring no matter what season of life you are in.
Next Step: Today, talk together about ways to keep the adventure alive in your marriage! Make a bucket list of fun ideas and new things you’d like to try together.
