Follow Your Calling預覽
Practice
After two years of college, we were sent to practice, in order, so to say, to realize everything that we have learned for two years. It was interesting to look at the chips and boards: how they are soldered and connected. We took out our soldering irons, rosin and began to solder. And everything that seemed very difficult to us, in practice, opened up in a very different way. Of course, I didn’t do my job, after all, the knowledge I received was not enough. My point is that practice shows us our willingness to serve. Start practicing your skills, take firm steps along your path of life. Despite the difficulties, people, circumstances in life - keep moving. Several practical tips will help you with this:
1. Think and write down what you can do this week and be ready to follow the desire to serve in your heart. When you feel it, do it right away, don't put it off.
2. Call your pastor or your leader and ask what you can do for the church and the people in it (I bet the answer will make you happy) because there is always a job for those who wish.
3. What you do every day makes you stronger. You eat every day - and therefore you live. John Maxwell, the author of over 100 books on leadership, once said: "You ask me why I have written so many books. I'll tell you: every day I study, every day I take notes, every day I read, every day I pray, every day I write." These are five practical and simple actions according to Mr. Maxwell that can help us. You are doing your calling every day, not once a week.
