WHAT I SEE DEVO

LYRIC EXCERPT:

Come alive

Wake up sleeper

He is risen

We are risen with Him

Paradise

Flung wide open

He is risen

We are risen with Him

If you see

What I see

That the grave is empty

Then you know

What I know

Anything is possible

Throughout the New Testament, especially during Jesus’ ministry, we can find examples of God breathing life into dead situations.

He raised Jarius’ daughter from the dead.

He raised Lazarus after four days.

He raised the widow's son in Nain.

Jesus Himself conquered death after His crucifixion –– and if He has that kind of power, we know He’s capable of breathing life into our own dead situations.

Is it possible you’ve been putting your faith on the backburner?

So often, we allow disappointment or worry or assumptions to cloud our perspective. We no longer believe God can do the impossible because we stopped expecting it a long time ago or can’t see the good around us because our focus fixates on the bad. Before long, our vision is blurred.

Maybe what your faith needs today is a wake up call. Sometimes, we need to recalibrate our hearts so we can see past our doubt and anger and frustration and trust His Word instead.

Jesus is the resurrection and the life, but how often do our actions reflect our belief that He can revive the dead things in our life right now?

To refocus our faith and see God for who He is in our lives, we need to keep a constant reminder of Him in view. This means opening the Word and spending time with Him, turning on some worship music to rest in His peace, or bringing your gratitude and concerns to Him in prayer. It may mean journaling or doing something artistic that allows you to connect to Him.

Clear your vision today –– draw near to Him and He will continue to reveal His power to you.

關於此計劃

Lion Devotional

In Revelation, we see Jesus as the “Lion of the tribe of Judah” and the “Lamb who was slain.” So much of God’s kingdom embodies paradox; even Jesus Himself was sovereign AND He submitted to authority. He’s the beginning AND the end. He isn’t relegated to one or the other. Join us for this 14-day study as we learn about how God’s kingdom and character may surprise us.
