The Bible In Australia預覽
One of the great enduring themes of the Scriptures is human acknowledgement of the profound power and beauty of what the Creator brought into being. It is no surprise that as people discovered new areas of the world, they would name them after biblical places of beauty and significance. One such place in Australia is the Walls of Jerusalem National Park in central Tasmania, with sites named after biblical places and figures. Perhaps less spectacular, but no less notable, is the archway over the entrance to Adelaide’s East-end Market bearing these verses from Psalm 24.
Look around. Notice that all things originated in God and belong to him. How does that attitude change your response to the world?
Almighty God, we praise you for all of your works. Your power is beyond our comprehension, and we give thanks for the abundance of your creation which we, your creatures, get to enjoy. Amen.
