Beyond Belief預覽
Do you ever wonder what your pets really think of you? They probably like playing with you and are glad that you let them hang out in your house and all that, but do you think they're ever annoyed with you? Does your dog wish you'd give them a little more food? Does your cat wish it had a little more space? Maybe even your pet goldfish wouldn't mind having a little more room to swim around.
Pets just don't understand that we're doing everything we can for them. And sometimes, we know that the things they want to do would actually be dangerous. Your dog might not like getting a bath, but it's the best way to keep her healthy. Your cat might wish they could go outside, but they'd get lost. We don't give our pets everything they want, because we know better than they do.
When you think about it that way, it makes a little more sense why God doesn't give us everything we want. Just like you're smarter than your dog, God is smarter than you. And while there are things you really want right now that God isn't giving you, it helps to remember that God can see things that you don't understand.
We can trust that God will give us everything we actually need when we need it. But if you can be trusted to take care of your dog, how much more can God be trusted to take care of you?

The Bible is full of statements and stories that seem "beyond belief." Some sound too miraculous — like, did God really split a whole sea in half? Other things sound too good to be true — like, is God really as loving, patient, or powerful as Scripture says? If you've ever wondered if what the Bible says is really worth believing, this devotional is for you.
