Red Flags, Respect, & Relationships預覽
In middle school, I did not like my teachers. In my mind, all they did was give boring lectures, pick favorites in the class (and it was never me!), and punish everyone for even the slightest whisper. I thought I would never find a teacher I truly liked, but then I met my English teacher. I loved the class because of the unique activities, fun discussions, and wise, caring teacher. After the class ended, I continued visiting this teacher during office hours, and she soon became a mentor to me. Because of this experience, I started talking to all my teachers, even if I disliked their classes. Through these conversations, I eventually found new mentors whose words of wisdom I still follow today.
No matter who you are, it’s important to always search for wisdom from important relationships in your life. God puts wise people like teachers and parents in our lives so we can learn from them. So, when you need some advice, ask God for a mentor and start talking.
Today, take a moment to think about the mentors in your life. Do you have any? If not, ask God to help you find one.
