A Glimpse of Infinity - 30 Days of Photography & Prayers預覽
Come
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Holy, holy, holy, are You, Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come! (Rev. 4:8b) We give You praise today, for You are worthy to be praised. For by You, all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities — all things were created through You and for You. (Col. 1:16) We look to You, Lord, for You are our King!
As we consider Your wonder and beauty, please help us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever (2 Peter 3:18)! In all creation, open our eyes to see Your wisdom and splendor. In every interaction we have, help us be image-bearers of Christ who glorify and magnify Your great name. You are Lord of all.
ONE QUESTION
Do I actively look for and appreciate God’s wisdom and splendor in His creation?
ABOUT THIS PHOTO
- NGC 6914 is a reflection nebula located about 6,000 light years away in the Cygnus Constellation on the edge of our Milky Way galaxy.
To capture this image, I used the FSQ-106 530mm f/5 telescope, the Paramount MyT (to follow the earth’s rotation), and the QSI 683wsg-8 (8300) camera. To render all the data, I photo-stacked 43 x 900 second exposures and 15 x 1800 second exposures together for a total of 18.25 hours of data.
