MIGHTY.

After Moses negotiated with God, he eventually returned to Egypt to save His people.

You see, when you read through, you will understand that God was with Moses the entire process and He gave him step-by-step instructions.

When I first read this part of Moses' story, the point of view that I understood was coming from one perspective which was God was using Moses to save His people, and later on God performed miracles.

The more I explored the story, I realized that God was actually flexing His authority and muscle on the Egyptians' gods too. When I got this understanding, it was really awesome and blew my mind.

When God told Moses "I AM WHO I AM", it was profound and stayed with me until I received that new revelation.

Egyptians have many gods on their own, the god of sun, life, death, etc. Each of them has their authority. However, our only ONE true God has defeated them all. When God told Moses that He would launch the 10 plagues over the Egyptians, He was telling Moses "Let me show you who I am!". God was really going all out to save His people and He was flexing his muscles. He is super mighty!

For example:

1. The Plague of Frogs
The frogs were a representation of the Egyptian god of fertility, when God sent this plague, He meant that He ruled over it! He was in control of the birth and fertility. God can give and He also can take back what He created.

2. The Plague of Darkness
The god of the sun (Amun Ra) represents authority because he controls the sun for the Egyptians. It is considered one of the most powerful, and Egyptians do not like darkness because it relates to the underworld. When God sent this plague, it was a hands-down knockout for Amun Ra. God was showing the Egyptians that God was the only one that could control the sun! It's like He can turn it on and off.

What if God sent you to wherever you are right now because He wanted to flex His muscles for you? He wants to show you how great and mighty He is! What if He wants to break a generational curse through you? Stay with Him and He is awesome!

PRAYER:

Dear Lord Jesus, we believe You are Mighty! We surrender our lives, hope, and season into Your hands. We trust that Your way is higher than ours and it is for our good. Holy Spirit, remind us when we start to drift away from You, and guide us always to stay faithful to walk in Your path. You reign forever. We prophesy healing and dry bones to live in Jesus' name! Amen.
