Genesis 1–11 introduces the big themes of the Bible. God loves humans and created us for a good purpose. But when we rebel against God it brings chaos into the world. Genesis 12–50 tells the story of a chosen family who later became the nation of Israel. God promises to use the extended family of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to give our world a new beginning.
